We are Robin Acid and Rebel Rob, and together we are the Acid Rebels. Our mission – bring back to life the infectious energy of old school house music and acid techno.
We share the same passion for the beats of the 90’s, when music was fresh, exciting, and the music scene was revolutionary. Our aim is to bring you back to the dance floor to celebrate the sound and music culture that shaped our generation. Our sets are infused with nostalgic rhythm, electric beats, and hypnotic melodies, designed to not only get your feet moving but also to evoke memories of the good times spent dancing under the strobe lights.
We believe that old school house music performed live deserves to be experienced in real-time, where every drop and every build-up resonates with the crowd. That’s why you won’t find us on Spotify or other music streaming platforms. For us, enjoying together in one crazy party is the ultimate tribute to music, just like the raves we used to have.

Robin Acid
Robin Acid used to be a metalhead when he was a teenager. He was first exposed to electronic music when he heard the Prodigy played an amazing show at a metal festival. He was totally blown away and knew from that moment on he would become a raver.
He started DJing in the late 90s, playing vinyl Drum and Bass and Jungle sets in different clubs in the Netherlands.
But creating his own music instead of playing another person’s tracks is what he enjoys most. Robin’s is mostly in charge of the percussion during our live shows. He also makes sure our tracks transition smoothly like in a DJ set.
Rebel Rob
Rob is the true musical mastermind of the Acid Rebels. He has been playing in bands since forever as a singer and guitarist. He has also performed as a rapper and he has released multiple tracks on his name in different musical styles.
He has also experienced the early years of house and techno and was totally mesmerized by the energy of house parties.
As a rebellious teenager he made his first tracks on a Commodore Amiga 500, which gave him experience in composing and sampling.
When the Acid Rebels play a liveshow, it’s Rob who perfectly knows how to hype up the dancefloor with his live vocals and hypnotic melodies. At our shows, you are guaranteed a damn good party!
